Yes! 107 Keeps Mayfield Working

People love it here and companies want to be here. City Council suspended the rules to drop townhouses into an executive office park, giving up the jobs and revenue that keep our taxes down.

Vote Yes to Fix Their Mistake

A YES vote will:

  • Protect revenue for our police, fire, and city services.
  • Block a 30-year, $9.3 million subsidy to the developer.
  • Prevent 61 units on a single lot.
  • Help keep our taxes from increasing.

What That Revenue Protects

The jobs on Parkland Blvd pay for the services that protect our community.

  • Mayfield Heights police cruisers parked at the safety centerPolice
  • Mayfield Heights fire station with the engine bays open and trucks insideFire
  • A Mayfield Heights city service department truckCity Services

Issue 107 is not a tax increase.
It fixes Council’s mistake.

Council Made a Big Mistake

In May, City Council rezoned executive-office land on Parkland Blvd, in a single night, so a developer can build 61 townhouses. Residents wrote in to object and were told their letters would not be considered.

Those office jobs pay for our police, fire, and city services. We petitioned, and now the whole city gets a say. Help us protect Parkland and keep Mayfield working.
